Beautiful weekend ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a mild Thursday with a mix of sun and clouds, we will cool down to end the work week.

Thursday night:

We will have cooler air sink into the state behind the cold front tonight. Breezy winds will continue as we will be under mostly cloudy skies. Lows will fall into the upper 40s.

Friday:

A terrific day is on the way with cool temperatures and mostly sunny skies. This will be among the coolest afternoons of the summer as our highs will only top out in the mid to upper 60s.

Weekend:

The fantastic fall-like weather trend will continue throughout the weekend. Plentiful sunshine with high temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s will make way for a comfortable stretch.

A gradual warming trend will work its way into the forecast for next week. We look to be back to near normal temperature numbers by midweek.
