Drying out Monday afternoon; Tracking midweek system

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A soggy start to the morning with temperatures in the lower 40s and upper 30s. Light to moderate rain will dwindle late morning and early afternoon. Lots of clouds today with a few peeks of sunshine through the afternoon. Monday night will be cloudy with lows in the upper 20s.
Tuesday will be quiet with a partly sunny sky! Highs will warm to the lower 40s.
On Wednesday we will see our next weather maker. First, bringing a wintry mix then snow through the afternoon. We could see some accumulations from this late Wednesday and early Thursday morning. Scattered light snow will continue through the day on Thursday will highs cooling to the lower 30s. Once the system exits, much colder air will briefly fill in.
Highs by the end of the week will top out in the lower to mid-20s with partly cloudy skies. This weekend right now looks split with Saturday being the better of the two days. Highs will rebound rather quickly with highs in the lower 40s Saturday while Sunday we factor in showers with highs in the mid-40s.
