Quiet to end the workweek

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We experienced another cold and cloudy day across the state with flurries flying around at times.

Thursday night: A slightly colder night is ahead under mostly cloudy skies. Lows will fall into the low 20s.

Friday: A dry and calm end to the workweek will be on tap with some sunshine looking to return to the forecast. Highs will top out in the upper 30s.

Weekend: Skies will partially build back in for the weekend. There is the chance for a light rain/snow mix Saturday afternoon and night. Highs will stick around in the low 40s.

8 Day Forecast: A short warming trend will be the story through midweek as highs look to get into the mid to upper 40s. This warming trend will eventually lead to a shot of arctic air going into Christmas Day. Flurries are not out of the question for Thursday and Friday. At this time, Christmas Day looks to be quite cold. For those wanting a white Christmas, it is not looking likely at this time.
