Rain chances to eventually return

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Fall season kicked off with another mild and dry day across central Indiana.

Tuesday night:

Clouds will partially increase as we become partly cloudy by the overnight hours. We will also remain dry as we bottom out in the low to mid 50s for the lows.

Wednesday:

A slightly warmer day is ahead as we will continue to stay dry. Skies will remain partly sunny as we top out in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Thursday:

We will stick around with the warmer temperatures with increasing clouds. Spotty sprinkles cannot be ruled out south of interstate 70. Highs will top out in the upper 70s to low 80s.

8 Day Forecast:

We look to end the work week with highs in the 80s and increasing humidity. We are desperate for rain, and showers and storm chances are possible through the weekend. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s for Saturday and Sunday. As we work into next week, high temperatures look to slip into the mid 60s.
