Rain chances to return

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A warm summer-like day was the story across the state to end the work week.

Friday night:

A warmer night is ahead as we will remain dry under partly cloudy skies. Lows will only fall into the low 60s across the state.

Saturday:

Skies will remain partly cloudy as we will have another warm day across the state. A few spotty showers cannot be ruled south of interstate 70 by the nighttime hours. Highs will top out in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Sunday:

Remnant moisture from Hurricane Delta will bring better rain chances for our Sunday. Keep the umbrella handy throughout the day. This rain is well needed as drought conditions continue to expand across the state.

Highs will range from the mid 70s to low 80s across the state.

8 Day Forecast:

Rain chances will continue for the start of the new work week next week. Above average temperatures will also continue through midweek before our high temperatures fall back into the 60s towards next weekend.
