Showers and storm chances on the way
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We got to enjoy a beautiful Wednesday with plenty of sunshine, but rain chances are set to return.
Wednesday night:
Clouds will build back in overnight as we continue to stay dry. Lows bottom out in the mid 40s.
Thursday:
We will start off dry with cloud cover. Have the rain gear handy as showers and storms are likely through the afternoon and into the nighttime hours. Highs will top the mid 60s.
Friday:
Showers and storm chances will continue through the day on Friday. Highs will remain in the mid 60s.
Rain accumulation:
With all of the rain that is set to arrive for the next few days. Flooding will certainly be possible, and moderate flooding occurred earlier this week in the southeastern sections of the viewing area.
8 Day Forecast:
Our active weather pattern will stretch into Saturday with the chance for a strong storm or two with breezy winds. We finally dry out by Sunday continuing through Monday as we will have a gradual cool down with afternoon highs in the mid 50s. Rain chances look to return by next Tuesday with near normal temperatures as we close out March.
