Storm chances and warm temperatures for Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We kicked off our Friday with cloudy skies, but the cloud cover eventually moved southward through the day. This lead to some sunshine by Friday afternoon for a good chunk of central Indiana.

Friday night:

A comfortable night is ahead under partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures with lows dipping into the low 60s.

Saturday:

We will swing right back to that summer feel with warmer temperatures and more humidity as a warm front will lift northward. Scattered showers and storms are possible through the afternoon and into the nighttime hours.

Isolated strong to severe storms are not out of the question with damaging winds being the main threat.

Highs will rise into the mid 80s.

Sunday:

We may have lingering showers and storms for Sunday morning before we dry out and drop the humidity values. Skies will become partly cloudy as we top out in the low 80s for our high temperatures.

8 Day Forecast:

Enjoy a refreshing first half of the work week as highs will be in the upper 70s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Rain and storm chances look to return for next Thursday, but they will move out by next Friday. Highs will continue to be in the upper 70s through the end of the work week.
