Warm up continuing with storm chances ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a warm Wednesday with partly cloudy skies.

Wednesday night:

Enjoy another pleasant night with mostly clear skies. Lows will bottom out in the mid 60s.

Thursday:

We will continue our warming trend through Thursday with increasing clouds and humidity. A stray shower or storm cannot be ruled out south of interstate 70 late Thursday.

Highs top out in the mid to upper 80s

Friday:

Prepare for a hot Friday as we close out the work week with humid conditions and mostly clear skies. Highs will approach the 90° mark and some locations may even hit the low 90s.

Expect the heat and humidity to stick around through the weekend. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the upper 80s and possibly low 90s. Isolated showers and storms are possible Saturday afternoon before numerous showers and storms potentially develop for your Sunday. We look to slightlyback off the heat for the new work week next week with daily rain chances.
