Dreary and breezy Mother’s Day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)–After a record cold morning temperatures stay below normal through the end of the weekend with rain chances.

TONIGHT: Clouds begin to increase throughout the night. It will be below normal tonight but no where near what we had Saturday morning. Lows fall into the upper 30s close to 40.

SUNDAY: Look for lots of clouds on Mother’s Day. There’s a chance for a few showers in the morning. A thin line of showers and storms form in the afternoon from Indianapolis and points eastward.

The Storm Prediction does have eastern Indiana under a marginal risk that some of the storms tomorrow afternoon may reach severe criteria. Main threats will be gusty winds and some hail.

It’s going to be cooler and breezy Sunday with highs in the middle to upper 50s.

SUNDAY NIGHT: A few spotty showers will be possible early on, otherwise we’ll stay mostly cloudy. Lows fall into the middle 30s.

MONDAY: Temperatures stay below normal for the beginning of the new work week. Highs climb into the middle 50s Monday with partly to mostly cloudy skies. It stays a little breezy with winds out of the northwest at 8-12 mph.

8DAY FORECAST: Temperatures slowly begin to rise back to normal and even above normal by the end of the week. Highs climb into the 70s by the end of the work week. There will be a few chances for rain in the middle and end of the week.
