Hot weather to continue

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We brought on the heat for our Thursday under partly cloudy skies and a breeze out of the south.

Thursday night: Skies will partially clear out as we will have a mild night on tap. Lows will only bottom out in the low to mid 60s.

Friday: We will end the workweek on a toasty note with bright skies and light winds. Highs will rise into the mid 80s.

Weekend: The hottest air of the year is set to arrive for our weekend. Prepare for a hot Saturday and Sunday with highs approaching close to the 90° mark. Some of us across the state could even hit the low 90s. There is even an outside chance for us to hit record high temperatures for both Saturday and Sunday, and those record highs are 93° and 92° respectively.

8 Day Forecast: We will continue to feel the summer heat to begin the new workweek. After a hot Monday, rain and storm chances will return to the forecast for next Tuesday and Wednesday. These rain chances will lead way for a minor cooldown into the mid 70s before we slightly rebound to the upper 70s by next Friday.
