Warm to end the workweek

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It was a bright Thursday for us across the region with near average temperatures. We also had a little bit of humidity work into the state as it felt a little bit on the uncomfortable side. We are continuing to track the return of the heat and increasing humidity levels on the way.

Thursday night: A mostly clear and slightly warmer night will be ahead for us. Lows will dip into the low 60s.

Friday: After a pleasant start to Friday, we will roll into a warm and humid afternoon. Lots of sunshine will stick around as we rise into the mid 80s.

Weekend: The summerlike feel will continue to tighten in our area for the upcoming weekend. Highs look to climb into the upper 80s for both Saturday and Sunday. We can’t rule out a few showers on Saturday. Despite the isolated rain chance, much of the weekend is expected to be dry.

8-Day Forecast: We will keep warm temperatures around through our Sunday and into the beginning of next week. Rain and storm chances are set to return Monday and persist through midweek. These rain chances will set up a gradual cooldown as well with near average temperatures by next Wednesday.
