Police: 94-year-old man fires gun in New York assisted living facility
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo police say a 94-year-old man fired a gun inside Mary Agnes Manor, an assisted living facility on Porter Avenue.
According to police, the man was slated to undergo a psych evaluation.
On Wednesday morning, when paramedics arrived and tried to get him to leave, police say he pulled out a gun and fired one shot, hitting a wall.
One paramedic was able to subdue the man and get the gun from him.
It is not clear how the elderly man got the gun, or if he was allowed to have it in the building.
