INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A mild and partly clear start to Thursday morning with morning lows in the upper 40s. We’ll see a fantastic start to the day with a mix of sun and clouds and highs warming to the mid to upper 60s! Later Thursday afternoon a cold front will pass through the state sparking up scattered showers and storms later Thursday. We’re not anticipating any severe weather. Showers and storms will linger through the overnight. Lows will cool to the lower 50s.

Scattered showers will end the workweek and will be throughout most of the day. Highs will cool slightly with most spots in the mid 60s.

This weekend will start wet with scattered showers and storms through the morning and afternoon with an isolated chance of a stronger to severe thunderstorm. By the end of the weekend we could accumulate 2″ of rain. Sunday there may be an isolated morning shower and cooler with highs in the mid 50s.

Temperatures will slowly warm next week to the upper 50s with shower chances increasing mid week.
