4 tips to keep your heart safe while shoveling snow

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Brace yourself, Hoosiers. A snowstorm is on its way — one that may require some heavy-duty shoveling. 

The task can be time-consuming and tedious, but it can also put a strain on our heart. News 8 spoke with Dr. William Gill, cardiologist and president of the American Heart Association board of directors in Indianapolis, who says you could experience a heart attack as a result from engaging in what seems like a harmless task if proper precautions aren’t taken.
