How to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Indy this weekend
The Indianapolis Athletic Club Foundation and The Hoosier Lottery are teaming up once again to host the annual greening of the canal and St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Tent Party! The canal was died green today to kick off the St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

The fun continues on Friday, March 17 with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Tent Party Presented by the Hoosier Lottery. The parade will happen from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on North Street between Meridian and Pennsylvania.
On Saturday, march 18 there will be the 30th annual 5K Shamrock Run & Walk.
