Indy Honor Flight asking for letters, cards for veterans

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indy Honor Flight is asking for letters and cards for veterans.

The nonprofit group takes veterans on day trips to Washington D.C.

The veterans get to see memorials built in their honor.

The goal is to make sure every veteran feels appreciated and loved.

The organization would like the letters and cards to give to the vets during April and May trips.

The cards and letters must be received by April 5.
