Get out those grills and fire ’em up! We’re grilling with Chef JJ on his Big Green Egg, as we share some Red Gold inspired recipes! First up? A spicy tomato burger! Ground beef gets a kick from the Red Gold® Petite Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies. Makes a perfectly spicy, yet juicy gourmet burger. MAKES 4 BURGERS
PREPARATION TIME: 10 MINUTES, COOKING TIME: 10 MINUTES
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (10 ounce) can RED GOLD® PETITE DICED TOMATOES & GREEN CHILIES or 1 (14.5 ounce) can RED GOLD® PETITE DICED TOMATOES WITH GREEN CHILIES, drained very well
Salt and black pepper to taste
• Combine the ground beef and petite diced tomatoes in a bowl. Form into patties and season with salt and black pepper.
• Place on grill and cook to desired temperature, 160o for completely cooked burgers
• Option: For an added kick put a slice of pepper jack cheese into the center of each patty. Use 2 cans of (10 ounce) Petite Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies for more heat.
• Serve on toasted bun
• Red Gold® Mama Selita’s Jalapeno Ketchup or Chipotle Mayo
• Slices of spicy peppers
