3 arrested after chase, SWAT standoff

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Three people were arrested after leading police on a chase from Beech Grove to the west side of Indianapolis.

A large police presence converged near the intersection of Rockville Road and Country Club Road.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested two people that bailed out after the chase. A third suspect was arrested after a SWAT standoff.

No one was injured in the ordeal.

The situation ended about two hours after the chase started.

Officers had the intersection blocked off and traffic was backed up in all directions.
