4 Marsh Supermarket locations set to close

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Four Marsh Supermarket locations in Indiana will close their doors due to lack of sales in those locations.

In a statement from Marsh they said they “determined these stores do not meet our business requirements regarding sales or future growth potential going forward.”

Officials said it was a difficult decision, but they hope the results “strengthen the company’s competitive position in the marketplace.” Employees at the affected stores will be offered opportunities to transfer to another location.

The four stores include a location in Lafayette at 3825 South Street, Mooresville at 435 Town Center Street, Fishers at 7400 East Fishers Station and one in Indianapolis at 35 Lynhurst Drive.
