Arrest made after stabbing outside of Lafayette bar
LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette police made an arrest in an early morning stabbing outside of the Biltmore Tap Room on S. Fourth Street.
The call came in around 12:40 a.m. Friday and initially reported that the stabbing took place at the bar.
Upon further investigation, police determined the victim was stabbed across the street and then was helped by a person standing outside the Biltmore.
The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening, and he was treated at a local hospital.
Police have arrested 35-year-old Christopher Fitzsimons for intimidation with a deadly weapon.
