Chilly temps overnight, beautiful weekend on tap

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Temperatures fall to the middle 40s in many areas Saturday morning.

Tonight

A cold front moves through central Indiana this evening.  For most, just a few passing clouds come along with the front.  An isolated light and brief shower can’t be ruled out, but is unlikely at this point.

Temperatures will run quite cool again overnight.  Lows fall to the middle to upper 40s across the area.

Saturday:

Nice, but slightly cooler day on tap.  Expect a decent mix of sun and clouds.  Highs top out in the middle to upper 60s.

Sunday:

Warm front moving through during the very early morning hours will bring cloud cover, and a low chance of rain to our extreme northern counties before daybreak.

Outside of the early morning, the rest of the day looks beautiful for most areas.  Expect highs in the middle to upper 70s Sunday afternoon.

8-day forecast:

Warm and dry to start off the work week, Monday.  Parade of cold fronts will be the story for much of the work week, with storm chances returning Tuesday, and then again on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Temperatures look to stay above average through the end of next week.
