16-year-old shot, pulled from burning car in Beech Grove

BEECH GROVE, Ind. (WISH) — Authorities are investigating after a juvenile suffered a gunshot wound and was pulled out of a burning car early Sunday morning.

Beech Grove police said the 16-year-old boy was pulled out of a car that was on fire and in a ditch near Emerson and I-465 around 3:00 a.m. 

The male victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. 

Beech Grove police said two other people were in the car and were also taken to the hospital. Those victims said the vehicle they were riding in was shot at several times before it ended up in the ditch. 

No other details have been released at this time.
