Arrest made in Greencastle homicide

GREENCASTLE, Ind. (WISH) – An arrest has been made in a Greencastle homicide.
According to the Greencastle Police Department, 28-year-old John Gonzalez has been taken into custody.
The arrest comes after officers were called to the 100 block of East Berry for a report of a dead person at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
Police later identified the body as that of 45-year-old Melissa Attkisson.
The department said Gonzalez was apprehended Monday, Feb. 3.
Gonzalez faces a preliminary charge of murder.
