Driver in deadly 2015 bus crash found guilty

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – The driver in a deadly 2015 bus crash has been found guilty.

According to the Hancock County Prosecutor, Charles Good was found guilty in the fatal bus crash of operating a vehicle with a schedule two substance in his system at the time of accident.

Goodman’s trial got underway Monday. He was charged with reckless homicide, driving while suspended and causing death while intoxicated.

Goodman was the driver a church bus headed from Gary to Ohio for a conference when he drove off of I-70 in Greenfield hitting trees.

A six-year-old child, Jacob Williams, was killed in the wreck. Ten other people, including Goodman, were injured as a result of crash.

Goodman now faces between two and 12 years behind bars.

His sentencing is scheduled July 20.
