Homicide investigation launched on city’s near north side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Officials are investigating after a man was found unresponsive on the city’s near north side.
Police were dispatched out to the 3300 block of Boulevard Place to check on the welfare of a person just after 4 a.m. on December 4. Upon arrival, they saw a man inside lying face down.
Medics later arrived and pronounced the man dead.
Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirmed it was a homicide investigation Wednesday night. It was originally listed as a death investigation.
Police said the man suffered from undisclosed trauma.
