Husband says Tippecanoe County teacher vanishes overnight

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – The Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 42-year-old Krista Perdue, a teacher at Woodland Elementary School.

Perdue was last seen by her husband at home on Trackside Drive late Sunday night. He says she wasn’t feeling well.

Perdue’s husband told deputies she wasn’t there when he went to check on her Monday morning. Her vehicle, purse and cell phone were still at the house.

Authorities say the husband checked for his wife at the hospital before reporting her missing around 10:45 a.m. Police do not suspect foul play.
