IMPD needs help finding serial robbery suspect

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Detectives are asking for the public’s help finding a serial robbery suspect who they believe robbed several businesses on the east side of Indianapolis.

The suspect is described as black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 150 to 160 pounds. He’s believed to be in his late 20s to early 30s.

Detectives think the man is responsible for at least four separate robberies on the east side – three in Indianapolis and one possibly in Cumberland. The exact locations and dates are listed below:

  • Jan. 13, 2016 – 2211 Prospect Street – Family Dollar
  • Jan. 19, 2016 – 8940 E. 38th Street – Subway
  • Jan. 24, 2016 – 1590 N. Post Road – Speedway Gas Station
  • The Cumberland address and date were not provided.
