About Kristin Toner:

A native of Noblesville, Ind., Kristin Toner returned to Central Indiana – and Indianapolis Ballet, Inc. – as a founding company member in August 2017 after dancing with Nashville Ballet in Tennessee since 2011.

Toner is a true hometown talent for Indianapolis Ballet, as she was a student in the first graduating class of ISB, while her summer experiences during her young training also included visits to the Kirov Academy of Ballet, the School of American Ballet, the Harid Conservatory and Boston Ballet.

Toner performed several principal roles while she received her BFA from The University of Oklahoma and followed her collegiate experience with a guest artist role with Tulsa Ballet performing in Twyla Tharp’s Push Comes to Shove.

Her repertory experience with Nashville Ballet included company roles in Cinderella, Nashville’s Nutcracker, Billy the Kid, The Sleeping Beauty, Carmina Burana, Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Peter Pan and Balanchine’s Serenade, as well as contemporary works by Gina Patterson and Christopher Stuart.
