Indy hosts ninth annual job fair for veterans

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The ninth annual Operation Hire a Hoosier Veteran job fair was Wednesday, April 15 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

200 employers were set to attend, and organizers expected between 700-800 veterans, service members, their spouses and family members.

Last year organizers said employers scheduled interviews with about 19 job seekers per company, and about 25 percent of participants received at least one job offer.

The event was at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and participants were able to register at the door.
