1 killed in Howard County crash
HOWARD COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – One person was killed in a Howard County crash Thursday evening.
According to the Howard County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the 4300 block North of 700 East for a crash around 7 p.m.
Deputies believe the vehicle, driven by 31-year-old Dennis Herschberger, was going north on County Road 700 East when it left the roadway and struck a tree.
Herschberger was killed in the single-vehicle accident.
It’s unclear why the vehicle left the roadway.
