Man dies after being found shot on city’s near-north side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man died Saturday night after he was shot on the city’s near-north side, according to police.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 800 block of West 29th Street Saturday around 10:45 p.m. on reports of a person shot. That’s on the city’s near-north side just west of Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Street.
When officers arrived to the scene they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. He died a short time later.
He has since been identified as 55-year-old Lloyd Moore Jr.
