State website sluggish after being targeted
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Users are experiencing the inconvenience from the state of Indiana website loading slowly, but the website was not hacked, said Indiana officials on Friday.
State officials told 24-Hour News 8 that a group has targeted 21 states from March 16 to March 27, and that Indiana was part of that attack.
They have stated that a high volume of traffic on Friday caused the website to experience intermittent outages.
This statement came on the heels of a tweet from the Twitter account @YourVikingdom that wrote:
