Teen boys arrested in shooting death of 28-year-old man
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two boys have been arrested in connection to the October shooting death of a 28-year-old in his car in an apartment complex parking lot, police said.
Marion County prosecutors will decide how to proceed with charges against the boys, ages 15 and 17, including whether they will be waived into adult court.
John Beasley, 28, was found shot in a car in the 3500 block of Star Magnolia Place at the Villages of Mill Crossing apartments around 5:53 p.m. Oct. 16. The apartments are northwest of the intersection of 38th Street and North Sherman Drive. Beasley was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
