Teen dies after being pulled from water in Hancock County
GREENFIELD,Ind. (WISH) – One man is dead after being rescued from the water. WISH-TV’s partners at The Greenfield Daily Reporter is reporting that the man is Anthony Moore, Jr. of Indianapolis.
The witness reported seeing an 18-year-old go into the water at Heartland Resort in Greenfield. The witness also told dispatch that the teen did not resurface after falling in.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department told 24-Hour News 8 the teen did not know how to swim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in Greenfield where he later died.
