We Stand Together: Latrece Murdock, co-chair of City of Fishers Committee on Race

FISHERS (WISH) — The City of Fishers is working to dismantle racism.

For Thursday’s “We Stand Together” segment, News 8 sat down with Latrece Murdock, the co-chair of the City of Fishers Committee on Race.

The goal of the group is to attack racism by acknowledging that it’s real and act change it. To do that, the city wants to sponsor hundreds of residents to take free “Interrupting Racism” training sessions.

Murdock took the course herself, and the way she sees it, there is still work to be done.
