How to plant and care for air-cleaning plants

Carolyn Clark Kurek from C2K Floral Design School shares information about plants that clean the air and how to plant them.

European Garden is an easy way to promote air quality in your home.  The garden is composted of  individual pots of plants that you can later put them in different places in the home.  Start with a basket with a liner, cover everything with moss and a little accent.

A variety of plants can help us increase the air quality in our homes and offices.  Our energy efficient homes and offices are keeping us sealed inside and limit the amount of fresh air we are getting this time of year.

It is amazing as to what the plants can do to take the chemicals out of the building.”
