Parkinson’s Awareness Month

Each April, the Parkinson’s Foundation works with the worldwide Parkinson’s community to make life better for people with the disease during Parkinson’s Awareness Month and beyond.

Every year, more than 90,000 people are newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s, a disease that affects one million people in the United States.

Joining us today is Parkinson’s Foundation CEO, John Lehr, and Vikas Chinnan, a person living with young-onset Parkinson’s disease. They discussed how they’re raising awareness to help those living with the disease.
