1 dead in northwest side crash
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person is dead after a three-vehicle crash on the city’s northwest side Wednesday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the collision occurred at the intersection of West 56th Street and Reed Road, which is near Eagle Creek Park.
Authorities at the scene told 24-Hour News 8 that the person who died was in a black sport utility vehicle. The other vehicles involved in the crash were a taxi and a silver sedan.
Five people were transported from the crash to get medical attention, authorities at the scene said.This story will be updated as more information becomes available. 24-Hour News 8 has a crew on the way to the scene.
