NFL Combine Fan Experience returns to Indiana Convention Center

NFL Combine Experience 2020

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The NFL Combine Experience at the Indiana Convention Center is bringing the fan experience back to Indianapolis.

“This is the ultimate insider access for the fans at the combine,” NFL events manager Carly Slivinski said.

Fans get the opportunity to check out a display of 53 Super Bowl rings and the Vince Lombardi Trophy. There are also opportunities to take pictures with replica backgrounds of the NFL Combine drills, including the 40-yard dash and the vertical jump.

Slivinski says the most exciting event of the fan experience, which is free of charge, is getting to cheer on the actual NFL prospects who are participating in the 225-pound bench press competition in person.

“Their fellow peers and prospects cheer them on, but it’s really awesome to have the fans their too cheering them on and amping them up,” Carly said.

Visit Indy’s Chris Gahl believes the event means even more than the $9 million economic impact on the city of Indianapolis.

“The epicenter of the football world is right here in Indy and has been since 1987,” Gahl said.

If you haven’t been before, Gahl gives you his pitch to come in and see for yourselves.

“It’s family friendly. If you love your city, if you love football and if you love your Colts, you can come on down and enjoy and be a part of the action,” Gahl said. “You, the fan, can watch a part of history.”

The NFL Combine Fan Experience opens to visitors starting at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and ending Saturday.

You can register for the “NFL One Pass” to help guide you to all of the Combine Experience events.
