Arctic blast mid week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A cold start to the morning with temperatures in the lower teens and feel like temperatures below zero.

A few flurries for this morning should move out by late morning. Temperatures hold steady in the teens for the afternoon as feel like temperatures remain below zero for the entire day.

Late tonight we have a WIND CHILL WARNING that starts at 10 and goes until 1 pm Thursday afternoon. Wind chills will fall to -30° to -40° for Wednesday morning with actual temperatures falling to -10° in the city. 

Indianapolis (WISH) 

Wednesday will be a bitterly cold day with highs struggling to make it above 0° for the day. Highs in Indy will warm to 0° with feel like temperatures between -20° to 30° all day.

Wednesday night a little bit of an improvement in temperatures. Overnight lows fall to -8° with feel like temperatures -15° to 20° below 0.

Highs for the day on Thursday will warm to the lower teens with feel like temperatures still well below 0. Late Thursday arrives the next measurable snowfall. Snow will stick around for the morning commute. Snow accumulation looks to be 2″-3″. Highs by the end of the week will head to the upper 20s and lower 30s. 

Even warmer for this up coming weekend with highs on Saturday in the 40s with partly sunny skies. Sunday highs will near 50s with showers returning. Highs to start the work week will soar to near 60 with showers and a few rumbles of thunder.
