Chilly end to April; Mild and sunny start to May!
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A few light showers will start Thursday morning with lows on the chilly side. Most spots will start in the lower 40s this morning. Light sprinkles will stick around through the rest of the day with highs struggling to make it the 50s. Area of low pressure will move eastbound and take the showers out with it late Thursday evening. Lows will fall to the lower 40s.
The first day of May is looking fantastic with highs in the mid 60s with a mix of sunshine and clouds. We’ll continue to see a warming trend through the upcoming weekend with highs boosting to the lower to mid 70s. Saturday highs should hit the mid 70s with a few spotty showers possible. I think we see more dry time than not. Sunday holds a better chance of scattered showers and storms. Highs will warm to the lower 70s.
Early next week starts quiet and comfy with highs in the lower 70s Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday highs will slowly cool to the 50s and 60s with a good chance of showers. A cooler pattern will settle in by the end of the week with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
