Cloudy, cool with showers for Mother’s Day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a little sunshine Saturday morning, clouds and rain return to central Indiana on Saturday evening.

Look for light rain to continue throughout the evening.

It will also be a bit breezy with winds out of the northeast at 10-15 mph.

Showers continue overnight. Temperatures are expected to fall into the 40s around much of the state with areas north of the city falling into the lower 40s.

Clouds stick around through much of Mother’s Day. We’ll see a chance for a few scattered showers on and off during the day.

It will be cool and breezy with highs staying in the 50s. The normal high for this time of year is in the lower 70s.

Look for clouds to start the day Monday but sunshine begins to peek out later in the afternoon. It will be dry and a little warmer with highs near 60.

Sunshine sticks around for Tuesday. Highs climb a little closer to normal in the upper 60s. Rain returns Wednesday but clears out of the area before the day ends.

The end of the week and into next weekend looks dry and warmer with highs climbing into the lower to middle 70s.
