Flurries and colder for Tuesday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A cold start to the morning with temperatures in the lower 30s with a few slipping to the upper 20s. A few isolated flurries this morning with a better chance of flurries Tuesday afternoon with no accumulation. Highs still well below the average highs, only topping out in the mid 30s. Better chance of flurries late Tuesday night. Roadways could get slick overnight and early Wednesday morning as lows fall to the mid 20s.

Indianapolis (WISH)

Wednesday should stay on the quiet side with lots of clouds to start the day. Highs still colder than average only warming to the lower 30s for the afternoon with a better chance of sunshine during the day.

Next chance of snow arrives Thursday with an approaching cold front. Snow showers will stick around for the morning and afternoon and will quickly move out by late Thursday evening. Not expecting much accumulation from this with most areas accumulating about an inch of snow.

We’ll end the work wek on a sunny but cold note as highs struggle to break the freezing mark. Quiet for a good bulk of the weekend with highs warming to near 40 by Sunday afternoon.
