Four injured in crash involving IndyGo bus NE of downtown Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An IndyGo bus and passenger vehicle collided Monday afternoon northeast of downtown Indianapolis, police dispatchers said.

The crash happened in the 5500 block of East 34th Street around 3 p.m. Monday

Four people were injured in the crash. Two patients, including a minor, in an SUV were transferred to hospitals in critical condition.

The driver of the bus is listed in serious condition.

A passenger on the bus also sustained minor injuries.

A cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
