$50,000 Powerball winner sold Indiana river town

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in an Indiana town on the Ohio River is a big winner.

A $50,000 winning ticket was sold at the Huck’s Market in Newburgh, the Hoosier Lottery said Tuesday.

The ticket matched four of five numbers and the Powerball. The numbers drawn were 23-25-35-63-64 and Powerball 25.

Wednesday jackpot is an estimated $251 million.

Newburgh is a town of nearly 3,400 residents that’s just east of Evansville.
