Indiana sees winter-like morning
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Hoosiers waking up Thursday morning may be a little shocked at the temperature outside.
Temperatures dropped to the lower 30s overnight around the state. A freeze warning has been posted for Indianapolis and surrounding areas from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday.
Normally, the last freeze in Indianapolis is April 16.
Make sure to protect your plants as they could be damaged due to the cold temperatures and frost.
A frost advisory has also been posted south for Seymour from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday. Temperatures will remain below normal day and night for the remainder of the week.
