Indy Eleven draw at home
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Saturday night was a tough finish for the Indy Eleven as they settled for a 1-1 draw against Carolina at Carroll Stadium.
The boys in blue scored just seven minutes into the match, thanks to a nice move from Charlie Rugg.
Sommer’s crew then settled in defensively, and used a few nice saves from Christian Nicht to hold that edge late into the match on a chilly, wet night.
The Railhawks pushed hard, and earned the equalizer from Wagner in the 86 minute, and it ended 1-1.
The draw on Saturday makes for nine consecutive matches without a defeat since last season.
The Eleven now have 6 points, and head into their bye week in second place in the NASL standings before traveling to Jacksonville May 9.
