INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — City residents had the chance to ask questions about Indy Go’s upcoming Purple Line during an open house Thursday evening.

The Purple Line is a 15.2-mile route that will connect Indianapolis to Lawrence.

In addition, infrastructure improvements will be a major impact for the area.

Lesley Gordon, IndyGo director of public relations and partnerships, said the line will add, “accessibility, increase walkability, and it’ll add 9.5 miles of sidewalk to that area.”

The project is expected to cost $155 million.
