Indy food pantry breaks ground on addition

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An Indianapolis food pantry is expanding to better meet growing needs.

The St. Vincent de Paul Boulevard Place Food Pantry is adding a 1,500-square-foot expansion.

The food pantry says conditions are too cramped for people walking through and it creates long wait times.

Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett says this will help the pantry expand its footprint in the community.
