INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Morning showers and thunderstorms to start Wednesday with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Rain will hang around through the morning and early afternoon. We’ll salvage the afternoon with an isolated shower possible through the day with a mostly cloudy sky.
Highs will soar with a breezy southerly wind to near 80°. Tonight will be a mild one with lows in the upper 60s with partly cloudy skies.
Early Thursday will be another unsettled one with scattered showers and storms through the morning. There is a marginal risk of a stronger storm from Indianapolis and points east.
Rain should move out by the afternoon with an isolated shower or storm chance through the afternoon with highs in the lower 80s!
Friday is looking like the best day this week. There could be a few lingering morning showers but most of the day should be dry with some hazy sunshine! Break out the swimsuits though, highs are expected to warm to the upper 80s.
Race weekend looks unsettled and warm with a daily chance of storms. Saturday most of the day looks good with an afternoon chance of showers and storms. Highs will warm to the mid-80s. Better chance of scattered showers and storms for the Indy 500 with highs in the lower 80s. Memorial Day has that chance of a scattered shower or storms with highs in the lower 80s.
